Hebrews 12:1-3
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, Who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

Turn your eyes upon Jesus.
Look full in His wonderful face,
and the things of earth will grow strangely dim
in the light of His glory and grace.

Ephesians 1:17-23

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of
wisdom and revelation, so that you may know
him better.
I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be
enlightened in order that you may know the hope
to which He has called you, the riches of His
glorious inheritance in the saints, and His
incomparably great power for us who believe.
That power is like the working of His mighty strength,
which he exerted in Christ when He raised Him
from the dead and seated Him at His right hand
in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and
authority, power and dominion, and every title
that can be given, not only in the present age
but also in the one to come.
And God placed all things under His feet and appointed
Him to be head over everything for the church,
which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills
everything in every way.
