Matthew
25:31-40
"When the Son of
Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit
on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered
before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a
shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep
on his right and the goats on his left.
"Then the King will say to those on
his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your
inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of
the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I
was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger
and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me,
I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came
to visit me.'
"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see
you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to
drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or
needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in
prison and go to visit you?'
"The King will reply, 'I tell you
the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers
of mine, you did for me.' " |

God,
You I praise and thank and worship for the many blessings You
provide. First and foremost for ...
Christ Jesus -- King of
Kings and Lord of Lords
Virgin born, You lived without sin
and boiled all of the law down to two commandments:
(1) To love the Lord our God with all my heart
and mind and soul, and ,,,
(2) To love others as myself. Eternally more
important, Jesus, You paid my debt. You gave Your life, redeeming me
from hell. You, God's sinless Son, died that I might live. Thank You,
Father, for the blessings of Jesus!
The Holy Spirit -- our Counselor and Comforter
You live within my
heart, taking my prayers to heaven, bringing God's answer to me. You
bestow magnificent gifts that enable me to do God's will. You counsel me
and comfort me, guiding my thoughts and steps. The inspiration for God's
Word, You make the Bible come alive, explaining its truths and applying
them to my life. Thank You, Father, for the blessings of the Holy
Spirit!

 Lavishing
Your love, grace and mercy on us
Giving us the
Holy Bible, that it's all the truth.
Writing my
name in the Lamb's Book of Life
Preparing a
place for me that awaits in heaven
Hearing my
cries and answering my prayers
Being
sufficient for all of my many needs
Delivering me
from my troubles and trials
Providing
Your strength and protection
Sending Your
missionaries to the front lines
Raising up
preachers, teachers, servants, saints
Touching me
with the truth and reality of Jesus
Transforming
my mind and changing my life
Forgiving and
forgetting my many mistakes
Giving Your
peace amidst the chaos of life
Understanding
me and being so patient with me
Supplying
your power, wisdom and holiness
Preparing
Your coming judgment
Guaranteeing
Lord Jesus' triumphant return
.
Count Your Blessings
When upon life's billows you are tempest tossed,
when you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
count your many blessings, name them one by one,
and it will surprise you what the Lord has
done.
