Noah's Ark!

Mommy & Me's virtual zoo in
honor of God's creation
 |
Many years ago, before there was rain, God told
Noah to build a boat, a BIG boat. God called it an ark.
Noah and his family needed the big boat because a flood was coming.
Do you know what a flood is? It's a lot of water in a little time -- too much for rivers
to hold.
God warned Noah to get ready for the biggest flood of all, caused by 40
days and nights of rain. He asked Noah to save all His creatures by taking them into the
ark two by two. The flood was going to cover all the world, and the only safe place for
animals or people would be in Noah's big boat.
So Noah did as God said. He made an ark and then filled it with God's
wonderful animals, saving them for us to see and enjoy today. Aren't you glad Noah
listened to God?
Here are a few of God's animals: |

Here kitty, kitty ...
Mr. Monkey, have you
seen the little kitty? |

|
Goodness, this big rhino
must have been fun on
Noah's boat!
|
 |
|
|
 |
Noah had a tough job
but God helped so
everyone played nice
-- even cats and mice! |
 |
|
Look, here are
some more monkeys ...

"Monkey see, monkey do."
Have you ever heard someone say that?
It's so easy for monkeys to make mistakes.
Don't be a monkey. Watch what you see, hear and
say.
Noah had birds on the boat.
Here comes a dove now! |
 |
The Holy Spirit is often
called a dove because It looked like one
when landing on Jesus. |
